Our History
Bill Gates and Paul Allen (Microsoft), Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield (Ben & Jerry’s), Lowrance Fisher and Gregory Stone (Fisher Stone, P.C.). Each of these partnerships stemmed from a lifelong friendship with the shared goal to change the game. Lowrance and Greg started their journey in a tiny one-room office. Since then, Fisher Stone has become one of the premier law offices in New York City. Our goal is to “Be a part of your success story” so we would like to share our history and our success story with you.
Best friends Lowrance Fisher and Gregory Stone decide to strike out on their own, disillusioned with the status quo of the legal world. The first steps toward transforming the industry came from their small two desk workstation.
“How have you never taken headshots?” So Lowrance and Greg hired a very nice photographer with a very questionable basement studio. The pictures turned out fantastic and the photographer has since moved out of that basement. Modest beginnings.
Innovation comes in many forms, and being environmentally sound is just another way to constantly push the (digital) envelope. Fisher Stone eliminated wasteful habits and went paperless. Even better, Lowrance and Greg bought commuter Smart Cars for the staff so they would never be late to meeting or wasteful with gas. Our history always included looking towards the future.
Lowrance and Greg attended one of the most powerful business development seminars in Tony Robbins’ Business Mastery Program. Tony Robbin’s history speaks for itself. The week-long program provided our team with the tools to amplify the business and develop creative solutions.
The practice was booming, so we needed more space to be able to serve all five boroughs with the quality and expertise our clients had come to expect. Our second office opened in Brooklyn which uncorked an abundance of new services and programs we could offer clients.
Not ones to rest on their laurels, Lowrance and Greg wanted to expand beyond traditional law and evolve with technology. This culminated with LegalEyeTM, a subscription-based service to provide on-demand legal services, and dealioTM, a program to help agents, attorneys, and brokers navigate the domain of real estate law.
As an organization, our forward-thinking has made us uniquely positioned to handle the strains of the coronavirus. We have successfully transitioned to the digital demands of 2020 and beyond. The Fisher Stone team is prepared to take the future head-on and keep adding to our history.
