1. Attorney Advertising

ATTORNEY ADVERTISING

The content of FisherStoneLaw.com — including practice-area pages, location pages, attorney biographies, blog articles, FAQs, reviews, ratings, statistics, and other materials — constitutes attorney advertising under Rule 7.1 of the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. Fisher Stone, P.C. is a New York professional corporation, and its advertising is governed by Rules 7.1 through 7.5. A copy of this Site’s contents is retained as required by Rule 7.1(k).

2. Prior Results

Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every matter is unique, and results depend on the facts, the applicable law, and the circumstances of each client.

Descriptions of past matters, closings, transactions, filings, or other outcomes anywhere on the Site are for general information only and are not a prediction or guarantee of results in your matter.

3. Reviews, Testimonials, and Ratings

Reviews displayed on the Site are drawn from Google and other public platforms. They are written by actual clients, are not paid or incentivized, and are displayed without filtering out unfavorable reviews except where a review violates the platform’s rules or the law. Each review reflects that client’s individual experience. Where a testimonial concerns a matter that is still pending, the client has provided informed written consent to its use.

“Super Lawyers” and any similar designations shown on the Site are ratings issued by independent third-party organizations under their own published methodologies. They are not endorsements by any court, bar association, or government agency, and they are not certifications of specialization. Details of the methodology are available from the rating organization.

4. Statistics and Experience Claims

Statements such as “4,000+ matters guided across New York,” “40+ years of experience,” and the number of Google reviews and average rating are firm-wide figures that we believe to be accurate as of the date shown on the page. “Years of experience” refers to the combined experience of the firm’s attorneys, not the age of the firm, which was founded in 2014. These figures are updated periodically and are not a measure of the results obtained in any matter.

5. Flat-Fee Pricing

References to flat-fee pricing describe how we typically charge for most matters. A quote is provided only after an attorney reviews your matter and is based on the scope you describe. Quotes are not offers of representation and become binding only when set out in a signed engagement agreement. Third-party costs such as filing fees, publication costs, title and recording charges, and taxes are additional unless the engagement agreement says otherwise. A material change in scope may change the fee.

6. No Legal, Tax, or Accounting Advice

All content on the Site — including blog articles, FAQs, checklists, and practice-area descriptions — is general information for educational purposes only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice; it may not reflect the most current law; and it may not apply to your situation. Do not act, or refrain from acting, on anything on the Site without consulting a licensed attorney or other qualified professional about your specific circumstances. Content may be prepared with the assistance of software tools, including artificial intelligence; all published content is reviewed by a licensed attorney before publication.

7. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Visiting the Site, reading our content, booking or attending a free consultation (including the free 15-minute consultation), submitting an intake form, calling, texting, or emailing us does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship is formed only when both you and an authorized representative of Fisher Stone, P.C. sign a written engagement agreement. Until then we owe you no duty of confidentiality beyond what the Rules of Professional Conduct require for prospective clients, no deadline is protected on your behalf, and we may decline any matter.

8. Confidentiality of Online and Telephone Communications

Information sent through the Site, our Lawmatics-hosted intake pages, email, or text before an engagement agreement is signed is not protected by attorney-client privilege and should not be treated as confidential. Calls to numbers on the Site may be recorded after notice. Internet and mobile communications are not fully secure. Existing clients should use the secure channels designated by their attorney for sensitive material.

9. No Claim of Specialization; Jurisdiction

Descriptions of our practice areas or “focus” describe the kinds of matters we regularly handle. Unless expressly stated with the disclosures required by Rule 7.4, Fisher Stone, P.C. and its attorneys do not claim to be certified specialists in any field. Certification is not required to practice law in New York and does not necessarily indicate greater competence than that of other lawyers experienced in the field.

Our attorneys are admitted in New York and in such other jurisdictions as noted in their individual biographies. We serve clients across all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester County, and New Rochelle. Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide legal services in any jurisdiction where our attorneys are not admitted, and nothing on the Site is advice about the law of any jurisdiction other than New York and applicable federal law.

10. Responsiveness and Emergencies

Statements that you can reach your attorney by phone, email, or text describe our general practice during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET) and are not a guarantee of any response time. The Site, email, and text are not appropriate for emergencies. If you face an imminent court deadline, a filing cutoff, or a safety concern, call us during business hours or seek other counsel; do not rely on an online submission.

11. Accuracy of Information; Third-Party Content

Fisher Stone, P.C. makes reasonable efforts to keep the Site accurate but provides it “as is,” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or currency. Laws, court procedures, filing fees, and tax rules change frequently. We disclaim liability for errors or omissions and for reliance on Site content. The Site embeds and links to third-party content and services (including Google Maps, Google reviews, Lawmatics, and Super Lawyers) that we do not control; their content and practices are their own.
