Our promise
The Fisher Stone Standard
The commitments we make to every client, on every matter, whatever the practice area. It is how we define what attorney-led work means in practice.

What we commit to
Four promises on every matter
The attorney you meet handles your matter
No handoffs to junior staff. The person you speak with at the start drafts your documents, negotiates for you, and closes your matter.
One flat fee, quoted up front
We quote a flat fee before any work begins. The price holds no matter how many calls, emails, or drafts your matter takes.
A direct line to your attorney
Call, email, or text your attorney and reach a person who already knows your file, never a call center or a general queue.
Senior judgment on every matter
Your matter is handled by an experienced New York attorney who knows the local rules and courts, not a form-filling service.
How it works
From first call to final filing
Every matter follows the same clear path, so you always know what happens next and what it costs.
- 01 Tell us about your matter Share the details by phone or through secure online intake. There is no fee to get started.
- 02 Your attorney builds the plan An attorney reviews your matter, explains your options, and sends a flat-fee quote before any work begins.
- 03 We handle it, you stay informed We draft, file, and coordinate with courts, agencies, and counterparties, and you follow progress in the client portal.

Transparent pricing
One flat fee, no hourly surprises
You know the full cost of your matter before anything begins. The quote holds for the defined scope of work, and if the scope changes, we quote any additional fee before we do the extra work.
- The work itself, quoted up front
- The calls, emails, and drafts along the way
- Any separate filing fees named in advance

Questions
Questions about the Standard
Does the flat fee really cover everything?
For most matters, yes. After a short consultation, your attorney quotes one flat fee for the defined scope of work, and that price covers the calls, emails, and drafts the matter takes. If a matter involves separate government or court filing fees, we tell you about those up front.
What if my matter turns out to be more complex than expected?
If something changes the scope of the work in a meaningful way, your attorney explains it and quotes any additional flat fee before doing the extra work. You are never billed for a surprise.
Will I always work with the same attorney?
Yes. The attorney you meet at the start handles your matter to the end. There are no handoffs to junior staff partway through.
How do I reach my attorney?
Directly, by call, email, or text. You reach a person who already knows your file, not a call center or a general queue.
What happens after I book a consultation?
The consultation is free and takes about 15 minutes. An attorney reviews your matter, answers your questions, and sends a flat-fee quote. There is no obligation to move forward.
